He had a service dog vest on but what service he was providing I'm not sure. When his owner was with him he wasn't particularly well behaved, but he did just hang out and relax there while she went in to the fitting room and tried on clothes.
And even though he was getting a lot of attention from everybody he just stayed like that and only wagged his tail a little bit.
I love him.

Out my window it's bright and sunny but when I went to take my laundry I saw the dark clouds on the horizon. So I am headed off for a bike ride now while my clothes are in the dryer. It hasn't started raining yet but I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a rain ride.
I'm also just glad to get out of the house and away from that weird cat and whatever it is that I caught him doing earlier:
Because that's comfortable.

Since I am officially moving out I've had to keep my apt clean and ready to show whenever I get the call from my landlord, so I spent my day off cleaning everything.
As did the detective. The woman who came to look at my place the other day said she liked the apt and she loved my cat. I should have tried to give him to her when I had the chance.
I woke up this morning at 4am to him sneezing right in my face. That's what I figured happened anyways, I initially thought it was the air brakes on a bus that I had somehow fallen asleep next to. When I woke up I was so startled I had no idea what was going on. It almost sounded like a soda bottle exploded or something. I actually got out of bed and inspected everything to make sure it was in fact just him being exceptionally rude.
He says, "EXCUSE ME"

Having never seen anything with Honey Boo Boo I don't really know but I get the impression that the Simpsons pretty accurately foretold that show with Cletus the slack-jawed yokel.
It makes sense. Now that I've made the connection I kind of want to start watching Honey Boo Boo.
Oh and also this.
Granted leaving my entire music library on random provides for some awkward moments like when a book on tape comes on and totally ruins the flow.
BUT, it's all worth it for when I'm reminded of gems like Dirrty which I inexplicably removed from my main playlist at some point in the past decade.
That's right, this song came out in 2002. I'll never forget, this CD will always make me think of Jenny. I bought Christina and she bought Beyonce and then we traded copies. I miss those days, and I miss this Christina too.
Although I did love Burlesque...

This was by far the best part of filing my taxes.
I definitely don't care about the refund as that will go entirely to bills bills bills.
Hopefully I will have some good news to report soon, related to the topic of "mo money mo problems"

Other than that and an afternoon with Daniel and Scout, I didn't do much of anything else today besides spend time with my special guy.
He's like, "Be my valentine! I'm angry"
"And now I'm over it"

Lots of people at work commented on how great I looked in my suit, even though I've worn it around them all before. Then I realized it was because this was the first time I'd worn it since I got my hair cut.
Also, please note my amazing birthday gift from Jon. Whenever I look at it I imagine him saying, "Jonathan, I'm angry"
I'm not sure if I will continue with the love songs beyond tomorrow. I feel like I've touched on the most important things.
Maybe I will close out the month with breakup songs.

Jon sent me this picture today of a car he spotted in Boston traffic:
I immediately thought of Sail Away, which will always remind me of this:
Jonathan however said he thought of Only Time, so I thought I'd post the music video for today's love song, but after watching it I am not really sure if it counts as a love song. I do like the top comment on the video though:
Well said Joseph.
Either way, I'm fairly convinced that Jon was in traffic with Enya. I can picture her driving a late model Audi.

I'm finally done with my long stretch of work, so I choose Cher for all of you.
For myself, I am looking forward to sleeping and wearing whatever I want tomorrow.
Maybe I'll even do something interesting and worthy of a blog post so you don't kill me for cheating and doing song after song after song.

This song will forever make me think of riding home from school with Leah and Ashley.
I think I would have been really disturbed by this music video if I'd seen it at the time. I'm actually still pretty disturbed by it even now.
What does it all mean? I don't know, but I am pleased to have been able to work fool in to this love song montage.

When I left for work this morning I had the sneaking suspicion that I was one love song short. I was right!
So this is love song #9, which I know from my dad playing it in the car when I was a kid.
Hahaha, uggghhhh. I definitely still have Christmas music on my phone.
So here's your love song for today:
Thank you Jonathan for sending me the video.

I actually had every intention of posting this yesterday as I worked all day and heard this song countless times, but I got distracted with things and stuff.
So this is actually my love song for the 7th.
I'm pretty sure I had heard this song enough to know all the words before I ever asked a coworker who sings it. I was not expecting Selena Gomez. I really had to sit down with myself and ask the tough questions; are you willing to admit you like Selena Gomez? Are you ready to express these feelings with others? Does this mean you're going to start following Selena Gomez gossip? What's next, Bieber?
I'm going to be honest with you, I don't have all the answers, but I find some solace in the fact that I still have to google Bieber for spelling. And that even though I like the song, I didn't quite follow the music video. But whatever, if this is what the kids are in to these days I'm going to have to get used to it.

Andrew sent me that saying it's me on my beach bike rides.
Since he put the idea in my mind, I decided to celebrate my last day off with a bike ride to the beach.
The water wasn't so cold anymore so I actually went in for a swim at one point later in the afternoon.
I'm glad I got out when I did, just enough time to enjoy the beautiful weather
Before the clouds rolled in
And I had to ride my bike home before it started raining.
Yes I did imagine I was in Mario Kart while I rode home.

He says, "oh hey, I have a love song that expresses my feelings towards everyone"
I find the lyric, "When you lackin', you losin'. And I'm out the door!" is particularly appropriate for the detective. Yesterday he sat watching me finagle my bike back in to my apt until he finally had the perfect opportunity to bolt out the open door. I calmly went out to collect him and he proceeded to run around my apt building like a CRAZY MANIAC. At one point he came up to me slowly like he was ready to surrender and then at the last minute dashed out of my grasp and took off again.
You can look forward to a few more love songs from him this month. He told me he had a few good ones in mind.

I seem to vaguely remember these "seasons" of which she sings about. But when you spend your first Monday in February here:
You forget that it's actually winter in some places.
Oh you want a panoramic shot to really get the idea?
"Blue skies sunshine, white sands by the mile."

This love song goes out to Leah and Meghan and everyone else who texted me at 8:15 to ask if I was watching the halftime show. Sadly, no, I was at work and did not get to see the halftime show, but I will surely watch it in the coming days and make my decisions on it.
In the meantime, I can't hear from Leah or Meghan without thinking of this Cake song, so I decided to make it my love song #3. I didn't even know there was a video but I am obsessed with it now. It has everything I love; cooking competitions, celebrity cameos, that Cake song I love. The only thing that would make it better would be if they had somehow worked in the detectives from the Special Victims Unit.
Still, it does have my new favorite quote, "I can't give you a 10 because of these damn peas".
It's like the words were stolen right out of my mouth.
This came to me yesterday like a bolt of lightning on my bike ride. I was so pleased, and then I forgot all about it and didn't post any love song at all.
I apologize, but know that I didn't forget entirely. And today you get two love songs.
And what is better than that?

Thank you Jonathan for sending me that to use for today. I try to keep a stockpile of rabbit images but I've actually used them all up now. I blame my always working and tending to horrible life chores, it's also why my posting has been so light.
Hopefully soon I will return in all my glory.
I like those two nice guys though, and the campaign makes me think of this:
which is always ok.
I was thinking about this post the other day but didn't make the realization that we were entering February and Valentine's Day. I think I've been more focused on it being Heather's birthday. But now that I remember, and have already had a reason to post a Jhud song, maybe I'll try and do a love song every day for February. Or maybe just every day until Valentine's day.
We'll see, at least I know there are enough love songs to choose from. Maybe I'll start planning them out today. It will give me an excuse to spend time with this month's calendar page:
