welcome home
When I got home from work she was sitting in the window like that just watching and waiting.
She's like, "I'm well hidden here".
What a nice greeting after a long first day of work. Thankfully nothing too eventful happened, though there were a few tense moments. As glad as I am to have made it through today, I won't be able to breathe a sigh of relief until Monday is over. Because of course, we have to get a visit from corporate the week after I start.
And I have to open tomorrow, so it's off to bed for me.

senor spielbergo
After an extremely not fun day off John took me out on a bike ride down the beach. We ended up stoping at a restaurant here to get a bite to eat and he told me that's Stephen Spielberg's boat. Apparently it's true too as one of the waitresses commented the same thing to her customer, causing the restaurant to erupt in murmurs.
It was pretty cool. Except that it does block some of the view from the restaurant.
Still, no complaints. It was a nice way to end a stressful day.

If you only knew what I've been dealing with the past two days.
Special thanks to Daniel and John for helping me out so much.
I can't wait to go back to work tomorrow, I'd rather be there taking my mind off my mess of a life.

come for a ride with me
It's been a long couple of days. I have a feeling today will be the longest, we'll see.
Yesterday afternoon I could feel myself reaching the breaking point so I dropped the top and went for a drive.
I went the usual route, down longboat key, stopping at bradenton beach to watch the sunset.
I even took a video of the drive over one of my favorite bridges but it seems you all will not get to witness it as I can't seem to get it to upload to my blog. It's probably for the best as I held the camera above the windshield to try and give the best view possible, not realizing that the sound of the wind was going to be deafening.
Next time I'll be better prepared. And from the way things have been going, next time might be in a few hours so stay tuned.
