Would the detective do this?

Thank you Jonathan for sending this to me, and no, I don't think the detective would do this.  Not that he doesn't love me or would defend me, I just think he wouldn't be paying attention.

Regardless, I love that video.  The cat was on top of things so quickly!  I hope that child understands that he is now indebted to that cat forever.  Just like with Sinbad in "First Kid".

Just like...

This made me happy

Thank you Ryan for sending me this article, it definitely put a smile on my face after another long rough day.

I agree that Phoebe and Chip are very nice but my favorite is definitely Orlando.  I like how he is just like, "Oh, is there a camera right under my chin?  Let me take advantage of this by doing the most disgusting thing possible!"

He is nice.

I still love Florida

Thanks Meghan for passing this article along to me.

The next time somebody compliments me on my baby blues I am going to refer them to this article.  I mean, I got nothing on that softball size peeper.

Gauzy

I sent Ariel an email the other day asking her when she was going to do another guest blog post and she replied that she may have outdone herself with the jack in the box clown head and wasn't sure when she'd be able to top that.

As consolation she said she'd been working on some new music and directed me to gauzy.  Ugh, how is she so good at everything she does?

Someday I hope to be as cool as Ariel.

I loved this

Roberts ADHD led us to this youtube video which ended up being really cool.  I wish that you could see the clips but for most of them I knew what they were from the description.

I loved when they sang the theme song!

see I'm just trying to help you

Thank you Kim for sending me this article that totally justifies everything.

Maybe when people ask me what my blog is about now I will tell them it increases productivity.  Although I guess I mostly post picture of the detective who is decidedly not a baby animal.  Maybe this means it's time for me to get a puppy.

You know, for you guys, and your productivity.

haha it's him!

I was in a jet-lagged haze all day yesterday so I ended up spending the evening playing flash games online while I waited to pass out.

If you haven't played Sushi Cat you should.  Especially if you like adorable kitties, and plinko.  One of the features they added to this sequel to the original is the ability to unlock different outfits.  You can imagine my delight when I unlocked the detective.

I wonder if I can commission a seamstress to make me that outfit for my detective.  He would look so handsome.  I also really like fancy cat.  Really any of those outfits would look great on the detective.  And you know he loves to wear outfits...

He's happy.

I can't pick a favorite

Those zombie ghost girls are pretty amazing but then the massage chairs.  Oh the massage chairs.  I seriously laughed until I cried at the massage chairs.

It doesn't even matter that I have no idea what they are saying.  This video speaks the international language of good old fashioned physical comedy.

It's also given me a few ideas for pranks to pull on my coworkers.  Muahahaha.

Diane Warwick?

Hahahaha thank you Jonathan for sending this to me.  I can't pick which person is my favorite, they are all so good.

I'm going to be laughing all day about this.

ahaha i like this story

Just read the article on dlisted.

This story makes me happy.  Especially because I saw some stuff online about the lion over the weekend but never thought that's how it would turn out.

He's nice.

he's helping

At some point I stopped believing it was all the same dog.

Go, Monkey, Go

Thank you Meghan for sending me this:

http://www.nytimes.com/2012/08/26/magazine/tampa-monkey.html?smid=pl-share

It has made my morning and you're right, it's hard to pick out a favorite part without giving too much away.

"Guessing it was a raccoon, an F.W.C. lieutenant scaled a ladder and barked at it. The monkey urinated on him and disappeared."

“In one of my divorces, I lost $100,000 worth of tortoises.”

"This is not the first time that monkeys have incited a minor populist uprising in Florida."

I wasn't lying

Online ColorIQ Challenge Results

FM Hue Test Results
A lower score is better, with ZERO being the perfect score. The bars above show the regions of the color spectrum where hue discrimination is low.

Click on that source link and it will take you to a color blindness test.  It was the hardest test I've taken in a long time.  I'm just so terrible with shades, my eye kept furiously scanning the bar while I second guessed ever minute change I made.

This is why I have to memorize all the real colors of the clothes at work.  It's the only way for sure I know I'm getting the right thing from the back.  Every time I try to just wing it I end up getting it wrong.

That's why I try to stick to blue and gray for my clothes.  When I do stray from those colors it's with something unmistakeable like hot pink.  Because you know what goes well with hot pink?  Blue, and gray.
