Breeze!

Meghan sent me this picture she found while shopping for bikes.  What a pleasant surprise this morning!

Breeze and her owner used to come in to the juice bar all the time, it was always a special diversion from work when I'd see her.  Sometimes he would even leave her with us for the day.  Those were the best.  She would usually just sit in your lap while you worked on the computer.

It's crazy that my days with Breeze were so long ago that I didn't even have my blog.  Otherwise I would have totally exploited her adorable face a long time ago.

Regardless, it's nice to see her now again.  Maybe I'll stop by and visit the next time I'm in ny.

wow, really cool

This is why it's always worth browsing reddit before work.

I'll be thinking about this all day.

never looked better

I took Chris to best buy on my break the other day so he could look for a game for his little brother.  As we made our way towards the game section we passed this misplaced cd.

When I first saw it I really did think it was a picture of Rod Stewart.

It's not completely far fetched.

he found me

As you may recall I had a gecko friend living with me at my dad's.  You can refresh your memory here.

Last night Heather spotted this guy hanging out on the ceiling in between our front doors.  I am going to believe that it's the same one and it just took him all this time to creep his way down to Ft. Lauderdale.

I'm glad he did!  I hope he will come and live inside with me.  Summer is fast approaching and I would prefer to not be overrun with sugar ants.

I know I can count on little salvador.

a nice guy

Yesterday at work we were visited by this handsome gentleman who was in fact a police dog actively accompanying a policeman.

I was under the impression that you weren't supposed to pet police dogs but this guy was all too eager to have us hang out with Ex.  He even said he'd come by whenever he saw us working.

I can't wait.  He was all smiles and nice pets.

I can't even, I have no words

The guy at the beach was definitely not doing that but omg does it look fun.

Heather also sent me this picture:

on facebook.

Apparently Sarah had a groupon for it but it was still mad expensive.  I wonder how physically demanding it is.  I mean, if you just do it regular, not porpoise jumping like that guy in the gif.

Whatever, I still want to do it.  Badly.  I feel like stumbling on it on reddit only reinforces that I need to to it as soon as possible.

hardly working

I was actually refolding the bandanas but once I realized that nobody could see me down here I decided to take advantage and rest my eyes for just a moment.

Janelle was on lookout for me, the photo is courtesy of her.
