this seems like something you would notice

Nobody seemed concerned, there were no three wheeled vehicles down the road with their hazards on.
I mean, even if it was the spare tire on the back don't you think you would hear something or feel something when it fell off?  I just don't understand.

wtf is this?

He was traveling with traffic too, as if he wasn't riding on a glorified skateboard.

I love Florida.

charming

Found this note on the floor of the mail room when I got home just now.

Part of me wonders what the story is, another part of me feels it's better left just the way it is.

not that I'm complaining

This diner I pass on my way to work has some exquisite taste in art.  I don't know how many times I passed by it and never noticed the picture of Farah Fawcett but now that I know it's there I look forward to it every day.

If their goal was to grab the attention of passerby's then consider it mission accomplished.  If that wasn't their goal then I'm not really sure what's going on but still, I have no argument with their choices.

from my father

Or Robda, or Boughta!

I will say that as much as I've grown to love my name there will always be a part of me that wishes my initials were BEN.

for poop EMERGENCIES

I spotted this car from across the parking lot and headed over to take a picture.  As I approached it a gentleman at a nearby vehicle asked, "is that your car?!"

While I appreciate that I look like the kind of person who would drive a poop911 car I sadly had to explain that I just wanted to take a picture of it.  This guy ended up telling me that he had a similar business that he started when he was in high school and wanted to know if this guy's company was affiliated.

Who knew there was so much money to be made in poop.

I found my new ringtone

Thank you Kim for sharing this me.  I don't know where you found it but I'm thankful you did.

I love that pipe organ!

finally, Linden

It was a dull weekday last spring when Linden came in to my work and we decided that we should be best friends.  UNfortunately every time we tried to make plans to hang out they were thwarted by the universe.  That is until yesterday.

We had originally planned on the beach but as you can see it turned in to a dark day in South Florida.  Not even Star Island could get the clouds to part for them.  We decided to just hang out on Lincoln road, where nobody will be surprised that I asked her to take me for tacos.

After some post dinner shopping we were headed back to the car when we heard some distant music.  Without hesitation Linden headed towards the music.  This is where we ended up:

Some kind of back alley party.  The best part of the whole thing was that Linden didn't seem surprised by any of it.  I guess you can't turn a corner on south beach without running in to a raging street party.  Another reason I'm glad I moved down here.

I'm also glad that Linden and I got to hang out.  I had a great time and look forward to having somebody to show me around south beach more.  I look forward to many more adventures in the future.

really?

He didn't have anything in the back, but he did have all of his windows down and his sunroof open.  I guess he wanted the back open too for air flow?

Who does this?  He looked like such a tool driving down the road.  I hope he went under a low overpass and smashed off his back door.

Oh Florida.

this is me

This ad was on the side of my blog and it made me laugh.  That is exactly what I looked like when I was studying script writing.

Like a young Jamie Hyneman, the whole future before me.

Those were the days.

Ethel and I have a lot in common

I had to go to one of those mail/shipping stores to fax something down to my AMAZING realtor.  While I was waiting I noticed a (sadly empty) birdcage in the corner with this sign in front of it.

The shopkeep said he didn't bring Ethel to work that day, I was disappointed.  I think Ethel and I would have become fast friends.

i trust him

What do you think his doctorate is in?  I'm going to guess it's duck gynecology.  And he moonlights as a fine art painter.  It all makes sense.

that's what she said

I'm sure there is an explanation for this but I would rather just continue being confused. We were at Home Depot looking for bathroom shelving and came upon this in the toilet section. Aren't we all looking for a toilet that has a Clean-Bowl Rinse In Biscuit?

why would you think this was a good idea

we were in traffic behind this car the other day. I can't really think of a reason why this would be appropriate. Do they play the trumpet?
