the greatest gift of all

As you may or may not recall, I gave Jenny this nickname at work a few months ago.  You can refresh your memory here.

Well it was her birthday a few days ago so I decided to make her a customized jacket with our double sided sequins.  I thought she'd really like it but she did not.  Instead I ended up getting her some boring nail polish from Sephora.

So much less exciting.

And the worst part is that Laura erased my handy work altogether.  Those jackets woulda sold like hotcakes if she'd left it.  What a shame.

some good screen caps

Earlier in the morning Jon sent me a text asking, "Do you know how they get maple syrup from trees?".  I thought he was joking at first but then he assured me that he was asking genuinely.

Later he asked me what would happen if you put a cough drop up your butt.

I'm going to guess he was wasted that day.

My other screen cap is far less amusing and much more RUDE

I discovered this DEFACING tonight at work.  I'm not sure when it was done but I've got my eye on old Dona Pepa.  She's just jealous that she didn't get top sales and isn't the employee of the month.  That picture is old anyways, I still have to take my September AND October employee of the month photo.

Maybe this time I'll request they be laminated so nobody can do such a horrible thing again.

mira Titi gets a new name

The other morning at work I was doing my opening routine of cleaning and organizing when my favorite girl from the cleaning crew stopped what she was doing to deliver me this candy.  She said she'd gone home to Peru for vacation and she brought it back for me.  She obviously knows my style.

It was too early in the morning for Dona Pepa so I put her in the drawer to save for later.  Somehow I forgot all about her (unbelievable I know) and I wasn't reminded until today when mira Titi opened the drawer and goes, "what is this?"

I immediately realized that Dona Pepa was mira Titi's alter ego.  When she gets extremely tan, puts on her hoop earrings, and covers her hair in candy sprinkles.  I don't know why this hadn't occured to me before, it seems so obvious now.

I still never opened it and tried it though.  My plan is to bring Jonathan to meet all my work friends while he's here, so maybe I'll make him split the Dona Pepa candy with me.  I'll let you know how it is.  If it's anything like mira Titi it will be spicy and unpredictable.
