what I don't get about this
Lysol's new thing is these automatic soap dispensers which they claim is good because it keeps you from touching the "germy" pump.
But my problem with this is that it shouldn't matter how germy the pump is because it is supposed to be the last thing you touch before you wash your hands. Unless you're using soap that doesn't clean your hands, or you're in the habit of pumping the soap and licking your hands to moisten them before washing. Either way I think you're missing the point of washing your hands.
Shouldn't lysol be focusing more on the anti-bacterial properties of their soap and less on trying to avoid germs altogether. If we could live in a sterile touch free world then we wouldn't really need to wash our hands in the first place.
Maybe I'm thinking too much about hand soap.
